I want to share with you a new free mission for Frontline Heroes: Fields of Normandy. The link to the mission is at the end of the battle report.
FRONTLINE HEROES - WEIRD WW2 SCENARIO - BLOW UP THE TANK
This is an After Action Report (AAR) of one of the missions included in Frontline Heroes: Weird WWII (a supplement for Frontline Heroes: Fields of Normandy that expands the universe to include supernatural beings and scientific advances).
This mission unfolds in two stages: the first, in which the player must conduct a stealth incursion with their men, attempting to locate the position of an armored vehicle prototype while avoiding detection by guards and sentries; and a second stage in which they must place explosive charges on the prototype and escape the area while fighting enemy forces.
Will they be able to place the explosives and blow up the tank before being discovered by the German guards?
FEAR OF THE DARK - WEIRD WW2 SCENARIO - LAST TRAIN
When I started developing Fear of the Dark rules, I used to play weird ww2, fighting with my allied paratroopers against Nazis and monster through an Europe devastated by war.
In that setting, which I love, is where the rules of Fear of the Dark were made.
Last night I wanted to go back to that setting and play a weird ww2 scenario using Fear of the Dark rules.
The AI did it very well managing the Nazi soldiers in a defensive position, and was difficult to beat.
I want to show you this battle report because I would like (in a future) to make a weird ww2 edition of Fear of the Dark. There may be people interested in that version...
FEAR OF THE DARK - SCENARIO - DON´T OPEN THAT DOOR
Testing (once and again) another new scenario that will be available as soon as I get my PC back (it's being repaired).
As always happens with Fear of the Dark scenarios, I'll try not to spoil the story, so, I'm going to make an AAR but skipping/changing some of the details of the scenario as I would like you to play and enjoy it...
This is a tense scenario that may seem quite easy but it may become a death trap easily in just a couple of turns.
Don't give anything for granted and enjoy...
Our group of characters face a hell of a problem when they find themselves in a small town where everything seems to be wrong.
Our warband is in that small town looking for a man that is trapped there, scary and dangerous monsters seem to be behind every corner and that man knows how to send those creatures back to hell, but he is unable to do it alone.

FEAR OF THE DARK - SCENARIO - A CABIN IN THE WOODS
This is going to be the first scenario that I play and show as a battle report. This kind of scenarios are a bit difficult to show as an After Action Report (AAR in advance) because it´s dificult not to spoil the story.
As the scenarios are highly narrative, they are intended to surprise or at least not to tell the player all the story that is going on, but when you make an AAR it´s easy to say something that will be an spoiler and that will make people who hasn´t played the scenario know things that they shouldn´t know till they played that scenario.
So, I´m going to make a battle report but in some moments I won´t tell you some of the things that are happening, ok?
You´ll see that I don´t say anything clear about what they find in the Points of Interest, that because I don´t want to spoil your games...
